Ioniq 5 is the first model of the brand dedicated to the electric cars of the Hyundai group, from which it stands out, at least stylistically, for a decisive design and clear, futuristic lines. Based on the E-GMP platform, it is powered by a 100% electric powertrain available in two variants, 2WD or 4WD both with a choice of 58 or 72.6 kWh battery, which allow the more powerful Ioniq 5 to shoot from 0 to 100 km / hi 5.2 seconds. The range has not yet been officially declared, but the goal is 480 km in the WLTP cycle.
A gem introduced with the Ioniq 5 is the 400 and 800 Volt charging, with speeds up to 350 kW. This means that with the fastest columns, it will be possible to recover 100 km of range in just five minutes, with 80% of charge recovered in 18 minutes.
And that's not all! With the V2L function the Ioniq will be able to use the batteries to charge or power external devices with a maximum power of 3.6 kW. There is no shortage of the latest generation ADAS with the brand new Highway Driving Assist 2 with lane change assistance.
